NAPA, CA, DECEMBER 20, 2019 – Robin Darcangelo has been named senior dean, students affairs, at Napa Valley College announced Oscar De Haro, assistant superintendent/vice president, student affairs.

Darcangelo has more than 24 years of professional experience in student services, including positions as associate dean of students, financial aid/scholarships, EOPS/CARE and veterans at Solano Community College; dean of enrollment and student financial aid at College of Marin; and acting director, financial aid at Shasta College. Most recently, Darcangelo served as executive dean of enrollment services at Long Beach City College.

“Robin has a tremendous track record and has been repeatedly commended for her successful management and leadership of student services operations and educational strategic planning,” De Haro said. “Her background in Title IX, equity and student discipline lines up nicely with this newly created senior dean position at Napa Valley College.”

“I am confident Robin’s extensive background both in the classroom and as an administrator, as well as her collaborative leadership style, will further our commitment to student success,” added De Haro.

“I am so happy to return to this community and have the opportunity to serve Napa Valley College and work with an exceptional team truly dedicated to student success,” said Darcangelo. “I love the work I do, and I am dedicated to making a difference for all students – and for the community.”
